A fine art portrait should capture the character and personality of the subject, not simply an image. This holds true for people or animals.
My goal with a portrait is to embody your loved ones personality, spirit and energy by careful attention to detail creating a memoir that is realistic and full of life.
Photos of your pet:
I will need high resolution photos to work from. If you live locally (Carson city/Reno) area, I can come to your home to photograph your pet if you do not have photos or the ability to capture your own. If you have more than one pet that you would like in the portrait, they do not need to be in the same photograph. We can discuss this over the phone or email when you contact me for a portrait.
Ordering Process:
2. Design - Several reference photographs (digital or printed) are desirable and the quality of the photos greatly impact the detail of the portrait. Natural lighting, expression and positon are best. Please ask in advance if you are unsure about photos.
3. Proofs- I will digitally photograph the initial mock-up sketch and email it to you for approval if you desire.
4. Progress - I will be glad to email several progress photos if you so desire. We can discuss this ahead of time.
5. Final - At completion of the portrait, I will email a digital image for approval. At this time a limited amount of changes can be made. When you are completely satisfied, final payment will be required before shipping.
6. Shipping - I can ship anywhere via UPS or FedEx. Your artwork is packaged for safe delivery and insured for full value.
Shipping costs are calculated separately according to size and destination.
